With 22 rapids ranging from Grade II to IV, Sg Kampar in Perak is the popular choice for most whitewater enthusiasts. A two-hour drive fr KL will take visitors fr concrete urban jungle to tranquil villages set admist rubber trees, fruit orchanrds and dense thickets.
The upper streches of the river start with series of fun drop and pool cascades cloaked by lush forest while lower section opens up to the spectacle of Perak's stunning limestone outcrops and quaint villages.
I did the first kayak at pulau pangkor and with a liltle experience and skill of paddling so im a bit okay with tis adventurous moment. It's the perfect trip to the beginner (like me) to intermediate paddlers bcoz it has enough challenge to keep everyone excited minus the hazards.
It was a great experience but yet looking forward at next level....yehaaaaaaaaaaa!
